 VFW 1650 is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard, and reserve forces.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness. They are the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization.

NAMI is dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Their Alliance includes more than 700 NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education to those in need.

The Combat Air Museum has served as an educational institution and tourism destination for forty seven years. It is one of a handful of major aviation museums in the United States located on an active air field. Visitors to our Museum are regularly treated to flying activities of Air Force fighter aircraft and Army helicopter operations. With the longest runway in the State of Kansas, large refueling tanker aircraft of the Kansas Air National Guard and army troop transports often fill the skies around the Museum. The Museum’s “Young Aviators” classes and Girls In Aviation Day offer students and Girl Scouts a unique opportunity to be immersed in the midst of a museum covering aviation history from the earliest days of flight to the present day.

Indy Races for Childhood Cancer’s mission is to support families affected by pediatric illnesses by raising funds for organizations that operate primarily on donations and volunteers. 

Our mission is to improve the lives of animals, alleviate their suffering, and elevate their status in society. We safeguard, rescue, shelter, heal, adopt, and advocate for animals in need, while inspiring community action and compassion on their behalf.

The Pony Express was a service that ran from 1860 to 1861 to deliver mail across the Old West of the United States. The Marysville Pony Express Museum is the only remaining original home station from the route.

Wounded Warriors United provides all-inclusive events at no cost to our wounded warriors. Wounded Warriors United provides events to our heroes to include, hunting, fishing, camping, and numerous sporting and social events. These events are therapeutic and will assist in the healing of our heroes hearts and minds.

Our Mission…

Teresa Majewski lost the battle with Breast Cancer when she was only 34. She passed away in October 1993. Her family has decided to help by having an awareness walk here in her hometown of St Joseph, MO. They promised Teresa that they would do everything they could to decrease the amount of people that have to go through what she did.

In memory of Teresa Majewski, we will be Painting the Parkway Pink to raise money for Breast cancer research.

Lecompton Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of Historic Lecompton’s local, state and national history museums, historic sites and landmarks.
